Check out this WHSV segment showing the behind-the-scenes of Graci's Cheesecakes!
Hello! Thank you for visiting my website! I'm Graci, and I started selling cheesecakes in December of 2014 to help raise money to go on a missions trip with my 10th grade Spanish class. Since then I have baked many many cheesecakes and have raised all the necessary money to take my second trip to a small village in Guatemala over Thanksgiving break of 2017. My classmates and I traveled to our adopted village in Zacapa, Guatemala, to care for the babies and elderly and to run a VBS program in Spanish for the children there. I loved returning to the same village and connecting with the same children that I did two years ago. God's Kingdom is growing there!
I want to give a shout out to my Spanish teacher, Mrs. Chrissy Lopez. She pushed us as students to learn Spanish and to raise money for this trip through creative entrepreneurship. She, along with my mother, was the inspiration for the start of this business. I also want to thank my school, Blue Ridge Christian School, which has given me a wonderful Biblical education where I can pursue my dreams with God openly by my side. BRCS started a high school three years ago, and I feel privileged to be part of the first graduating class from the new high school next year, 2018. I have received a fantastic, creative, wholesome education at Blue Ridge Christian, and I highly recommend it to you. Check it out at brcschool.org.
But just because my fundraising is done doesn't mean my cheesecake-baking days are over! Since then, I have been a part of several farmer's markets, have provided cakes for events like weddings and bridal showers, and have continued my pursuit of an order-based culinary business. I hope many of you will be able to enjoy my cheesecake creations. Here's what customers are saying about them:
"several steps above marvelous" ~~ "heavenly" ~~ "divine"
~~ "it's like putting a piece of heaven in my mouth" ~~
